I find new homes for your previously loved & gently used clothing on your behalf!  It's win win, you will receive 40% of the listed price aka make some extra cash on those clothing items that you may still love but just don't reach for anymore. Plus you get the comfort of knowing your pieces have a chance at a new home to be loved once again rather than ending up in a landfill.

• There will be a total of ONLY FOUR consignment drops each year corresponding to each season; Fall, Winter, Spring & Summer 
• Please provide photos of all items via email or DM (ensure garment condition & brand tags can be seen in photos) 
• I will review the photos & let you know what I am able to sell based on my selling experience. Unfortunately, I have learned that specific items such as pants & shoes can be a tough sell unless well known, higher end brands so please never be offended if an item does not get selected
• Upon approval, please provide a listing of all items you provide consent to be sold by Middle Child Vintage for my review & your email address for e-transfer 
• After one month, if items remain unsold, they will be discounted. Please notify me if there are any items you would NOT like to be discounted.
• Items will remain listed for up to four months, at which point they will be taken off the website and available to be picked up or they can be donated to the MCV thrift shop 
• **IMPORTANT** Prior to drop off or pick-up, all items MUST BE FRESHLY washed, steamed,  appropriately cleaned & in a condition that is READY to be sold. Please note, this applies to items that are clean but have been tucked away in storage for months as they can develop a musty smell. 
• PLEASE closely inspect items for any damages or stains. I am unable to list items that are stained or damaged. This includes any excessive pilling & evident signs of wear & tear. 
• PLEASE also ensure all HAIRS has been removed from items. I have recently received items with excessive hair on them & these will no longer be accepted & listed. 
• Items must be dropped off at MCV HQ in Hamilton (near Ottawa & Cannon) 

• Items MUST be in objectively excellent or like new condition & in on trend styles 
• Specifically looking for SUMMER ITEMS including lightweight jacket (chore coats, denim jackets, etc), lightweight sweaters or cardigans, dresses, skirts, vests, overalls, jumpsuits, tops, blouses, long sleeve tops, purses or shoes in like new condition & recent styles etc 
• Brands we love: Anything Local & Slow Fashion, Anthropologie, Aritzia, J.Crew, Kotn, Madewell, Smash & Tess, Miik, Frank & Oak, Unique Vintage Pieces, Etc. 
• I am always happy to take great quality basics such as long sleeves & tees from higher end brands
• Please note I DO NOT ACCEPT the following items:
• Fast fashion brands such as Forever 21, Zara, Old Navy, H&M, Ardene's, etc. Unfortunately the margins are just too slim on these items and have limited resale value.
• PLEASE NOTE - I will only accept items from brand such as Banana Republic or J.Crew if they are current styles from within the past two years 
• Shoes or purses unless they are in like new condition, higher end/vintage brand names & currently on trend
• Jewelry & other accessories 
• I will start to accept Fall items at the end of August 

• Consignee payments for items sold (40% of listed or discounted price) will be e-transfered once a month, at the end of each month 
• With every e-transfer, a detailed summary of your sold & unsold items will be sent to your email for review 

UNSOLD ITEMS: 

• Items are kept listed on sale for typically up to five months 
• At three months, they will be discounted & at five months, you will be notified 
• At this point, if items are unsold, they can either be picked up or donated to my thrift shop 
• Please let me know if you DO NOT want any specific items discounted
